What is this?

Simplecast is a great tool allowing people to easily host their podcasts, and its continued usage of RSS as one method for distribution is a great boon to those of us who prefer a free, open internet. However, because of how it handles Atom parts of the feed, some podcast readers get confused and lump all Simplecast podcasts under the title "MP3 Audio".

This webpage provides a way to get around this issue. When inputting an RSS link to a podcatcher, simply prepend this page's url to a query string called "url" whose value is the URL of the RSS feed you'd like to fix. For example: "https://example.com/?url=https://example.com/feed.xml". Alternatively, enter the URL you'd like fixed below, and copy the link shown.
